Job Description:
The Operations Coordinator is responsible for assisting with the coordination, procurement, planning, and execution of our company’s LNG production, transportation, and regasification processes. This role will report directly to the VP, Operations, and will support other major operational activities. This role is ideal for individuals who are proactive, detail-oriented, and thrive in a collaborative environment. Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
Position: Operations Coordinator | Full-time (Monday – Friday)
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
- Experience and Proficiencies:
- 3+ years of experience in operations, procurement, or logistics.
- Experience in the oil and gas or energy sector is an asset.
- Certifications:
- Supply Chain Management or Procurement Certification is an asset.
- Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP, Agile) is an asset.
- Location: Applicants residing in the Calgary region are preferred.
- Ability to travel to customer sites if required.
- Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily operations activities, ensuring efficient and safe operations across departments.
- Serve as a liaison between vendors, clients, and internal teams to ensure that all stakeholders are aligned.
- Prepare and maintain operational documentation and reports.
- Manage major procurement initiatives, including RFPs and contract administration.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies.
- Assist in tracking operations progress and updating stakeholders.
- Maintain files, maintenance records, and documentation for operational purposes.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving day-to-day operations issues.
- Completes purchase orders for operations according to budget and approval levels.
